Are Your Web Site's URLs Fit for the Search Engines?

Making sure your website and its pages are constructed so that search engines can easily find and index them is critical to achieving high rankings. One important thing to remember: search engines are essentially running computer programs - commonly known as spiders - that download web pages, read the text and links on that page and decide what to do with it.
Just like your personal computer, if a spider is overtaxed, it will freeze up or crash altogether.
So, if a website layout is disorganized or links between pages are difficult for the spider to find, the site will not be crawled frequently, or not at all.

Build friends at StumbleUpon and send them your articles to get thumbs up. A good number of thumbs up will get your content more exposure and can result in thousands of visitors to your content every day. Your articles can do well here even if buried at Digg.

Reddit
Reddit has a reputation for being a good springboard to get content onto other social bookmarking sites, so make sure you get active here, too.
